We have 1.3bn litres of Petrol, No Plans To raise Pump Price- NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), on Wednesday said there is no truth in the rumour that the Federal Government plans to raise the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (also called petrol).
The corporation specifically warned motorists in Abuja, its environs and indeed all Nigerians not to engaged in panic buying of petroleum products, assuring that it has 1.3 billion litres of petrol in stock, sufficient for over 38 days of supply.
“With the resumption of production by the NNPC Group’s refineries in Kaduna, Port Harcourt and Warri, complemented by imports, there are enough products,” the group said, quoted the Chief Operating Officer (Refineries), Mr. Anibor Kragha, while briefing the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream, in Abuja.
