Expected Earnings Release Dates for March Year-end Accounts

It is less than nine trading sessions to the expiration of the 90-day deadline for companies with March 31 year-end quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) to present their audited financials, as contained in their post-listing requirements.

Investdata Consulting Ltd has therefore compiled in this report, their expected earnings release date based on their historical reporting timelines.

It is expected that more earnings reports will hit the market in the month of July and August, coupled with increasing number of companies paying interim dividends, which now also audited such reports. These expected earnings are likely to add more momentum to the market for the Q2 earnings season as investors look forward to cash or scrip dividends from full-year and half-year accounts of companies depending on the strength of the earnings reported.

Research reveals that increasingly, number of companies on the exchange are complying with their post-listing requirements, while the NSE compliance code will guide investors to know companies that regularly provide information on a regular basis.

Above is the March Year-End Account table with the expected released date, last year’s dividend, Earnings Per Share and the current EPS, while the table of interim dividend paying stocks is below  to guide you accordingly.
