Further to the release of its audited financials for the year ended December 31, 2016, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, on Thursday said its annual general meeting to consider the report and approve the dividend proposed by the board holds, on Friday, April 7, 2017.
In a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) by its Company Secretary, Erhi Obebeduo, the bank said the final dividend of N1.75 proposed for approval at the meeting would be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the register before Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
In the same vein, the register of GDR Holders is to be closed on Wednesday March 15, 2017.
The dividend would be credited to the accounts of shareholders with electronic mandates on the AGM day, while dividend warrants would be dispatched to others on the same day.
The dividend payout brings to N2.00 the total per share for the 2016 financial year.
