The board of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp), on Monday announced the resignation of Emmanuel Nnorom as President and Chief Executive of the conglomerate with effect from June 1, 2017.
In his place, according to a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), signed by Helen Iwuchukwu, Group Company Secretary of Transcorp, dated April 24, 2017, Adim Jibunoh, a former chief executive of Continental Trust Bank Limited and Executive Director of Standard Trust Bank Plc, which was consolidated with United Bank for Africa Plc, has been appointed.
He is currently Business Development Director at Heirs Holdings Limited, overseeing the non-financial services sector in the group,
Jibunoh, a first class graduate of Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and holder of Masters in Business Administration from the University of Lagos is a non-executive director of Avon HMO, United Capital Plc and Transcorp Hotels Plc.
Meanwhile, Nnorom would remain on the board of Transcorp as a non-executive director.
