The board of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited, on Tuesday approved the immediate employment of over 3,000 new employees for its new factory extension in Nnewi, Anambra State, South East Nigeria.
In a series of tweets on its handle, Innoson said the first batch of new intakes, totaling 1,007 workers, would be employed next month (April).
Applications are therefore expected from the following: Welding Engineers, Automotive Painters, Plasterers, Auto Electricians and Mechanical Engineers who must have Senior Secondary School Certificate, Higher/National Diploma and Bachelor’s degree.
Others include Administration Officers, Account Officers and Public Relation Officers, who must have either Higher Diplomas or BSc.
Applicants for positions of Marketing Executives, who should have OND, HND, or BSc; Quality Control Officers, who should have HND or BSc.

Recall that Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, last month visited Chief Innocent Chukwuma, founder and chief executive of Innoson Vehicle in his office where he stated the commission’s resolve to partner Innoson’s Kiara Academy for the training of Niger Delta Youths.
Senator Ndoma-Egba during the factory tour expressed surprise that the Innoson Factory was not just assembling vehicles, as it was actually manufacturing made-in-Nigeria vehicles.
Reacting, Chukwuma appreciated the NDDC chairman for his visit and assuring him that the academy has the capacity both in terms of space and human resources to deliver quality training to the Niger Delta youths and make them outstanding.
