The Ambassador of South Korea to Nigeria, Kim Young-Chae, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos Headquarters of BUA Group, a conglomerate engaged in foods, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

Young-Chae, according to a statement at the weekend, who was to discuss areas of partnership and deepen existing business and economic relationships between Nigeria and South Korea, was received by the Group Executive Director, Kabiru Rabiu, and other members of the BUA management.

Addressing the Ambassador and his entourage, Rabiu said Nigeria is an investment hub with over 200m people and generate mineral resources in excess of $53bn yearly.

BUA Group, he assured the visitors, is open to new business and partnership opportunities with Korean companies that would ensure sustainable economic development for Nigerians, and Africans in general.

Speaking earlier, Young-Chae said South Korea considers Nigeria as a strategic partner, while demonstrating the need for further business facilitation between both nations.
