1. Dominic Olufemi Lijadu, from Ogun State 60. Born in London, England on February 21, 1959.
2. A leading commercial lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in private practice.
3. Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Law, 1980 from the University of Durham and was admitted to the Nigerian bar in 1981.
4. Joined the law firm of Fani-Kayode & Sowemimo in 1981.
5. Obtained a Master of Law degree two year later from the University College London. He rejoined the firm the same year and stayed there until 1987.
6. Worked at Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie (Lagos).

2. He obtained a B.Sc in Accounting in 1983 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an M.Soc.Sc in Money, Banking and Finance in 1991 from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
3. He also holds a Certificate in Financial Asset Management and Engineering from the Swiss Finance Institute, Geneva, Switzerland.

Other members of the new board of the reconstituted board of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) to be inaugurated on Monday by the permanent secretary of the Finance Ministry Are: Mrs Rekiya Ladi (Kaduna) Non-executive Commissioner, Okokon Ekanem, representing the Ministry of Finance, Dr Alvan Ikoku, representing the CBN, Ms Mary Uduk, the commission’s Acting Director-General, and Henry Rowlands, SEC’s Acting Executive Commissioner, Corporate Services.
Others are Isyaku Tilde, Acting Executive Commissioner (Operations), and Reginald Karawusa, the Acting Executive Commissioner (Legal and Enforcement).
