TY Holdings Limited, the holding company of Nigeria’s former Defence Minister General Theophilus Danjuma businesses spanning various sectors of the economy, on Tuesday announced the acquisition of an additional 249,746,823 ordinary 60% of the entire shares of BOC Gases Nigeria Plc, in the Company previously owned by BOC Holdings UK (a member of the Linde Group).
The additional shares, according to a notice by Ronke Segun-Alabi Mrs., Company Secretary of BOC Gases, raises the stake of TY Holdings in the company from 12% to 72% effective from August 13, 2021.
The statement assured esteemed shareholders of BOC Gases Nigeria Plc and the public “that the company will make certain that it sustains the reputation and standing it has built for over the last 62 years.”
