As part of guaranteeing supply security at affordable prices for its customers, major integrated downstream oil and gas businesses in Nigeria- Ardova Plc, on Monday said it has agreed to a bulk purchase framework with Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
The deal, Ardova said, will see see it offtaking a full slate of petroleum products from the refinery for distribution through its over 700 retail outlets, as well as its significant storage facilities in Apapa, Lagos and Onne, Rivers State.
Although a significant offtaker from the refinery since inception, Ardova said the “new framework will institutionalize a more robust relationship between the two companies to further enhance the emerging competitive landscape in the downstream oil and gas industry in the country.”
The framework, which is in line with President Bola Tinubu’s drive for competition and improved efficiency in the industry, statement added, “will see Ardova Plc deliver products at competitive prices nationwide.”
