President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back to the country on Friday, March 10, after 51 days on vacation in England, where he has been on “routine medical check-ups,” since January 19, 2017.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, in a three-paragraph statement, said the President’s “holiday was extended based on doctors’ recommendation for further tests and rest.”
The President, Adesina added, “expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes.”
