Under-40 CEOs Live Hosts Tonye Cole In February Maiden Edition

The maiden edition of Under 40 CEOs Live holds on February 18, 2020, at the Lagos Business School (LBS), Pan-Atlantic University, Lekki – Epe Expressway, and will feature Tonye Patrick Cole, co-founder and former Group Executive Director of Sahara Group, Nigerian energy conglomerate operating in 38 countries across the world.
A statement by “Under 40 CEOs Live,” quoted Familusi Akin Babatunde, its Executive Director, as saying “while there is a stream of information available online for aspiring entrepreneurs with regards to business news, industry developments, and opportunities, nothing is more effective than direct learning at the feet of business giants, drinking from their fountain of knowledge.
Under 40 CEOs Live, he said, “offers young business leaders that possibility.”
As Group Executive Director at Sahara, which currently boasts of over 4,000 employees and an annual turnover of $11bn, the statement recalled that Cole was directly responsible for the Group’s global expansion, upholding her corporate governance principles.
He was also responsible for maintaining Sahara’s “status with global institutions like the World Economic Forum and the United Nations where he was a pioneer member of the advisory board of the Private Sector Advisory Group for the UNDP Sustainable Development Group Fund (SDG- F). It is, indeed, a privilege to have him share his experience with us at the maiden Under 40 CEOs Live.”
The event, supported by FCMB and the Enterprise Development Centre, is free but requires registration, Babatunde noted.
