The board of Wema Bank Plc, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Johnson Lebile as the new Company Secretary/legal Adviser.
He replaces Oluwole Ajimisinmi, who has been redeployed to head the Lagos Business Group after 9 years of holding the position.
Lebile, who has over 18 years experience in legal practice spanning various sectors, banking and financial services, assumes the new role October 2, 2018, was until now Head, Legal Services Department of the bank, a position he has held since 2009.
A notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) by Ajimisinmi, said Lebile was called to the Nigerian Bar in September 1999, and holds a Master’s degree in Law, from the University of Lagos.
