In a move that expands the range of investment opportunities available to investors on the Nigerian bourse, while reinforcing its commitment to connecting businesses with long-term capital and supporting their growth through enhanced visibility, strong governance and deeper investor engagement, the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Friday announced the listing of AVA Capital Plc to its Main Board.
AVA Capital Plc, a unified group engaged in investment banking, wealth management, full-service brokerage execution trusteeship, estate planning, corporate trust services, and generational wealth preservation to its Main Board.
The NGX listed AVA Capital’s five billion ordinary shares by introduction at ₦7.50 each, bringing its market capitalisation of ₦37.5 billion, describing it as a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable growth, strong corporate governance and long-term value creation, while enhancing its visibility within Nigeria’s capital market.
The group , through one of its four subsidiaries manages the NGX-listed AVA Infrastructure Fund (AVA IF), which channels private institutional capital into closing Nigeria’s infrastructure gap.
Speaking at the listing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of AVA Capital Plc, Kayode Fadahunsi, described the admission as a defining moment in the Company’s evolution.

Following its listing, the stock recorded an active debut, closing among the week’s top 10 price gainers with a maximum 10.00% gain which moved its price to ₦8.25, just6 as it featured among the three most traded equities by volume.
