CBN Reschedules First MPC Meeting Of 2020

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on Monday night, announced a shift in the date for the first meeting of its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in 2020.
The two-day meeting earlier slated to hold on Monday and Tuesday, January 20 and 21, 2020, respectively, will now hold on Thursday and Friday, January 23 and 24,
2020.
Although no reason was given for the postponement, a terse statement by Isaac Okorafor, Director, Corporate Communications, said the apex bank “regrets any inconvenience this change may have caused its stakeholders and the general public.”
