CWG Seals Deal To Transform Enugu Gaming Commission Automation

Computer Warehouse Group says it has sealed a deal with the Enugu State Government to help with technology that would transform through automation of gaming and lottery operations using online solutions.
The contract with the Enugu State Gaming Commission (ESGC) seeks to streamline activities in the sector in the state thereby protecting investors, operators and consumers.
All classified under “gaming”, the sector, which comprises casino games, sports betting, various promotions, lottery and lotto games, generates an estimated N5bn daily in Nigeria.
The state, through the contract, seeks to attract a chunk of that revenue, mostly at informal level into its economy.
A statement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) by Adewale Adeyipo, CWG’s Business Director, assured that CWG “will aid operational automation of the affairs of the ESGC and may lead to close-working relationship between the parties in executing the contract.”
While assuring that the contractual relationship will not negate the independence of the parties, which nonetheless remain independent of each other, CWG assured its stakeholders, particularly investors and the general public of its dedication to protecting their interest.
