Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited recently hosted the second edition of its Business Banking industry event, The Confluence, as part of its efforts to deepen sustainability in the Nigerian SME, especially manufacturing sector, through capacity building, knowledge sharing creating access to the market through digital visibility and business financing. The event took place on August 16, 2019, at The Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Themed “Digital Transformation- The Next Frontier”, the event provided a platform for players and stakeholders in the SME segment, to access critical knowledge from the bank and partner institutions for the event – Google and Deloitte and Touche. The session covered key areas to drive organisational growth and sustainability like Environmental and Social Risk Management, Digital Strategies for Business Growth, Tax Compliance and Financial Reporting and Business Financing for SMEs. The panel of experts provided in-depth insights and training to help businesses create greater visibility, boost sales, drive growth and ensure regulatory compliance. The Confluence also created an avenue for these stakeholders to network and share knowledge.
