NSE CEO Celebrates Dangote, BUA, Zenith, Fidelity For Supporting Anti COVID-19 War

In a novel move and owing to the lockdown to check the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic now ravaging the globe, leaving a chain of death in its wake, the Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Oscar Onyema, on Wednesday performed a one-man closing gong ceremony to celebrate listed companies that have contributed funds to the fight against COVID-19 in Nigeria on Wednesday, 22 April 2020.
Those put up for celebration are companies quoted on the NSE that have contributed to the private sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) under the leadership of Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Aliko Dangote, president of the Dangote Group comprising three quoted companies, including Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, NASCON Allied.
On the list of celebrated companies are BUA Cement, Zenith Bank, United Bank for Africa, Guaranty Trust Bank, Access Bank, FBN Holdings, and Fidelity Bank, among others (READ MORE).
