Osinbajo Condemns London Terror Attacks, Condoles British Govt, Victims’ Families

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, on Sunday, joined his voice to those of world leaders to condemn Saturday’s dastardly terror attacks on innocent persons in the United Kingdom, describing them as “sickening atrocity perpetrated by a misguided and cowardly group of terrorists.”
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity, Prof Osinbajo said the Federal Government of Nigeria is united “with the government and people of the United Kingdom and extend our condolences to the families of the victims.”
He noted that the latest attack in the U.K., which occurred at the London Bridge area on Saturday night, “reinforces the need for the global community to act with greater vigour to overcome the extremist ideologies which underpin terrorism.”
