The Senate on Wednesday held a closed-door session with the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, at the National Assembly.
The IG of Police briefed the Senate on efforts of the Nigerian Police to address the escalating rate of insecurity in the country, according to a terse statement signed by the media office of the Senate President.
