Shun Illegal Collections, Lagos SUBEB Warns Primary School Head Teachers

Members of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), on Wednesday, met with headteachers of all public primary schools across the state, warning them not to engage in illegal collections of any kind from their pupils.
The SUBEB board, led by its chairman, Wahab Alawiye-King, urged the headteachers to strictly comply with the executive order of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the proper use of the schools.

He assured them of the governor’s commitment to the wellbeing of that segment of the education sector.
A statement by the SUBEB assured of the commitment of its Chairman and board, as already being demonstrated in the commencement of the conversion exercise for non-teaching staff who have acquired more knowledge for classroom leadership.
